This isn’t necessarily a problem and is of course great once in a while but there was a real need for a venue that focused wholeheartedly on raw, wheat and dairy free meals and of course raw pressed juices…enter RAW PRESS.

The   Juices are in glass medicine bottles making you feel like that you’re actually medicating your body with nature’s elixir of life and each bottle of water on the communal table has a stick of Japanese charcoal which I was informed soaks up toxins and the ill affects of London’s tap water….

The pea and mint soup looked so good that I ordered a bowl with gluten free bread – a real novelty was being able to toast it in the bright yellow toasters on the communal table.

After the salad, soup and juice I felt full of energy and ready to take on the afternoon.

They also do delivery juices too so if you’re in London and in need of a cleanse it’s worth looking in to.

But if I were to pick one absolute gem in this area it would have to be Raw Press, located just off Sloane Square.

Raw Press offers nourishing salads, acai smoothie bowls, fresh organic cold-pressed juices and healthy snacks from The Hardihood (nutritious raw cakes that are to-die-for-delicious!)

In the words of Raw Press themselves… “Brace yourself for a green tonic so potent that your taste buds will be recalibrated and your cells zinging.”

Raw Press have a couple of London cafes, one on Dover Street in Mayfair beneath Wolf & Badger, and another on Chelsea’s Ellis Street – a short walk from Sloane Square tube station.

Wellness warriors such as Madeleine Shaw, Deliciously Ella and the Hemsley sisters are all big fans, so if you’re after a lunch supercharged with the healthiest food nature has to offer, pop down to Raw Press and fill your boots!

As well as lines of juices, Raw Press boasts a revolving food menu of nutritious food, with a selection of 4 or 5 daily vegan and gluten-free salads, a daily soup, and tempting dishes such as baked sweet potatoes with coconut yoghurt and kale chips.

Breakfast review at healthy cafe, Raw Press London

The decor is cool and fresh – tables lined in bright yellow, wheatgrass running along the walls and yellow toasters sitting on the tables waiting to be used, we are told, by customers at lunchtime who fancy some toast and nut butter.

Raw Press is all about the juice and we had not one but three green juices to choose from: We tried the Green and loved it – by far one of the best green juices in London.

We had fun filling beautiful bright china bowls with overnight Bircher muesli made with green juice, matcha, dates and oats.

And we got creative with the jars of bee pollens, nuts and seeds that we could sprinkle over the top.

The whole place made us smile and glow- the bright colours, the toasters, the creative ‘make your own’ breakfast bowls.

Raw Press Juice Bar Opening at Wolf & Badger | The Sett

Review analysis

Raw Press is proud to announce that it is opening a cold-pressed juice bar from July at Wolf & Badger, located downstairs at 32 Dover Street, Mayfair, W1S 4NE.

Over the past couple of years, cold-pressed juicing has exploded in popularity in the U.S., where juice bars look to be on track to become as popular as coffee chains.

Hydraulic juice presses conversely work by slowly applying pressure until all of the juice is drained from the fruit and vegetables.

Raw Press uses the industry-leading juice presses from the U.S., which first shred down the solid produce to a pulp, before pressing the pulp in the hydraulic press.

The press does not force air into the juice during pressing, so the juice does not decay as fast as with other methods of juice extraction.
